New York
We went to New York on Friday to the PhotoExpo. We were on the bus for 11 hours total. 5 hours in the morning and 6 hours in the after noon. I sure was tired. This is us...well except for me, took the picture.
I had so much fun. I hung out at the Canon and Nikon booths listening to the speakers and watching the demonstrations.
I got to see my inspirations...Joe Buissink was one. He rode the escalator on the step in front of me...I wanted to say something to him but couldn't think of anything to say. The other was David Jay. He is one of the reasons I am following my dream of being a photographer. I was in the Pictage booth and he sat down beside me. I did talk to him because I have met him before, and he is one of the nicest people I have ever met. I was so excited to see him.
I have more photos I will post them soon...there is a problem with blogspot... :-(

Shots from school
This morning we had a lecture on street photography given by Christina. I think is was to inspire us to take photos while in New York Friday.
Michael teaching us lightroom...he caught me shortly after this was taken....I am not a good street photographer...oh wait this would be more like classroom photography.
I was thinking about Joan's Lectures...and that assignment where we have to draw shapes and designs.
It was cool...It inspired me to take these at school!
Me being sneeky...hee hee

Tom saw me when he was out amongst us..then he ran up here to the compter and told on me to Michael...I think...or maybe not.....

I also have been inspired by Joan lately. I have been trying to see things in a more abstract compositional way....
Look what I am reduced too....Dunkin Donuts, can you believe that? No starbucks here!
This also reminds me of Dick's class when we were making corrections with the view camera - correcting key stoning.....but this is the opposite the cup really was slanted, but in this picture it looks straight.
